Hey guys

just installed link and have some questions cause I’m not really sure what’s up. With the stock black box ecu the car ran great, pulled great, nothing wrong at all. When I put in link and load up the base 2G map from ECMs website, everything is fine except when I’m around 1.8k-2.5k normally driving. The car will try and build up 3-4lbs of boost but not go anywhere with it and the car hesitates to move. After around 2.3k-2.5k the car wakes up and drives fine again. I’m new to link so are there any pointers anyone can give me on what this could be. My AFR stays in the normal 14.7 range while it’s doing this. Is it something to do with timing?like I said I’m new to the tuning side of things and none of the vids I watched to do research have helped

Thanks

The car isn't setup correctly. Is it speed density or maf? A couple of speed density options are selected but the ecu inputs have no MAP or IAT setup. You also need to adjust your tps so that your thotttle is 0% at idle and 100% at WOT with an idle voltage of 0.63v. If you're on a stock MAF, uncheck "disable maf compensation" and uncheck "disable aiflow smoothing" and report back with a log.

Also, you haven't added your wideband to the ecu inputs tab for logging.

+1 @Vegas smith

Capture and display MAF, battery, combinedft, iscposition, stft & ltft

Zero out the fuel slider. You want to make changes to the MAF slider. What injectors do you have?

Under Dash, change your knock cel to 2.

Sounds good, it is stock 2G maf, and I don’t remember messing with any of that when setting the car up. And yeah I don’t have that wideband setup in link cause I’m using the AEM non X-series and I was told those ones don’t work correctly in link. Thank you guys!

I could, been busy with work and it’s my daily just wasn’t sure if i was gonna run into problems cause so far not too much has been just an easy install LOL

I see. Wait until the weekend then. Idle and cruise are simple. WOT will take a hand full of pulls.
