Hey guys, I am going to order some wheels and tires online but i dont know what size tires/ wheels to get.
I want my wheels to be flushed with my body, no poke, tuck, or rub.
the wheels I want to buy are the AVID1 AV6: 17x8 35mm offset.
Tire size im not sure about 215-235/40-45 aspect ratio?

Car: Stock suspension, no rolled or pulled fenders. All stock.

sounds pretty similar to the evo 8 enkeis... same diameter, width and offset. Id say they will work the same...

for tires on an 8in wheel you can go as wide as 245, but id stick to 235 if it were me. They get a bit bulged if you go too wide.

+35 will stick out. Evo 8 wheels are +38 and even they stick out a hair. You probably want a +40.

As for tires, a 245 will give you a nice vertical sidewall. 235 is stock Evo size and will give you a hair of stretch.

Later in the future i do plan on putting coilovers, 235 will hit/rub right?

I was originally planning 225 since i will be putting coilovers on. i forgot to mention that.
will 235 hit on coilovers? tien from fitment industries.

Even a 225 is going to hit the fenders if you go low enough on those wheels, unless you're going to run a ton of camber. 2G's have a pretty wide flange around the fender lip that needs to be rolled in to clear tires.

I am seeing +35 for the enkei evo 8 offset on STM website, but lots of people saying +38 on forums. Has anyone verified this? I am just curious at this point...

Also, 235 is not a stretch on a 8" wheel. 235 is on the wide side of ideal for 8" wheel. 245 is maximum recommended size on a 8" wheel (some bulge). At least that's what the tire engineers will tell you... (or google)
