You know you’re fast af when you’re using safety wire. Looks so nice. Can’t wait to see them bad boys mounted.
hoping the weather cooperates with me LOL but you know how ohio weather is. got to get me a grinder and a couple flapper wheels to do some clearancing on the control arms and trailing arms.

Yeah I hear yah. Scatter rain throughout entire Ohio any time it rains ROFL. Those aren’t too bad as far as price wise. How did you function without a grinder until now? Haha jk

Small update:

so my trans builder had me do a make shift kiggly mod with toggle switches to rule out the solenoids in the trans being bad. I made a crude rough harness setup to give it a try LOL

first road test was a success but I didn’t go too far from home just in case. I feel like it should be good enough but I’m gonna try one more test with a little bit longer drive to be 100% positive that the solenoids are good. The. Decide if I’m going to buy another shift box or swap shifters

Little update:

so figured out the shifting issue and narrowed it down to the shift box. Shawn from forced four hooked me up with a new unit to replace my current one

I personally have had a stroke of bad luck lately with two sprained ankles and a slipped disc in my lower back. Trying to heal up so I can get my shift box wired and brakes thrown on. We have a track rental the 26th so I can get some data on the car and hopefully get it turned up before shootout

well a bit of a sad update:

couldnt make it to thew track sunday. had a fueling issue that is leading to a damaged fuel pump. ive neglected this car over the last year or so due to family issues coming first. so the plan for me this week and the next couple weekends is to pull the pump, send it to magnafuel to get rebuilt and start going over the whole car to make sure its ready to race.

we did however still have a great time at the track rental. it was my wifes first time at the track and she did great her first time out. best et in the heat was a 15.6 @87mph ( stock genesis coupe is advertised at 15.5) her car is also going under the knife for some upgrades.

Update time

So finally had the chance to get my antilag racing Wilwood setup installed on the car. Love how simple this install was. Got a couple things to finish up on the car and I’ll be ready to test them out. Thinking about doing a full review on them once I get the car running again.

If anyone is interested in this kit check out Warren’s website www.antilag200.com Has some awesome products other than brakes for the dsm and has some of the beat customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Been a while since I’ve updated.
So I’ve been tinkering with the car here and there. Fuel system is fixed and 100% now. Brakes need to be bled still but so far is a huge improvement over the stock setup. And finally I picked up a jeff bush trans pan for the car. Going to try to install it this weekend

I wish I could document my cars this well. OP, what tablet are you running for DSMLINK and do you happen to know which model stand you bought to hold the tablet?
It’s an acer one10 windows tablet that I use. As far as the mount it was one I had found on eBay. I don’t recall a model of it.

I want to replicate your tablet/mount setup. Pretty sweet. But I’m cheap. That tablet is more than I want to pay. How dumbed down of a tablet could I go and still be able to run DSMLink?

I think as long as it’s a windows based tablet and has enough room to store everything that you have to download with link you should be ok. The mount on eBay was pretty cheap. Only thing I’m not sure of yet is how it’ll do on the launch

Got the jb trans pan installed today. Took way longer than I thought LOL. Had to take the front crossmember off to get it on. Such a nice piece though. I went with the 2g version which netted me an additional 2.5 qts over the stock 1g pan.

I did finally pick up my own trailer finally. Needs some work but I got a good deal on it.

I did pick up the next mod for the car to get installed though. It’s being delivered today but here’s a teaser

Next step for safety. This is the first kit of two going in the car. Going to have one kit that will spray the engine bay and another that will spray the cabin. I got the idea from the noonens setup in their 1g. More pics once I get the mount and start installing it

I’d like one too but I’m going with element fire extinguisher since they last longer. Can’t imagine watching your car go up in flames as you just sit there.
There are so many guys running these fire bottle kits. I’ve spent months looking into fire suppression for the car. Talked a good bit with Tom noonen and pulled the trigger on the first kit. I’ll get the second kit here in the next month or so once I recoop LOL
