Put the 1ga on the lift today. Found some gruesome work done by the previous owner. Im thinking he got hung up on a big curb or something and yanked off by a truck. Any thoughts on if this is too bad to drive with? I believe this is totaled. But how unsafe is this? Both sides of the unibody have damage. One significantly worse than the other. Posted below.

She's beat up pretty good and they have 2 lines that are repaired.....hmmmm
Possibly boxing in the frame at a frame shop would be a thing to ask around about.
As most, she has some rust issues. Mine are showing their age too. Just try to not let anything rust out. Kill it and prime it to keep it from eating up anymore metal.

Im not one to cut or grind on any frame work. Id hate the ruin the structural integrity of the car. You believe it would he safe to grind the rust down and add some filler? Or what would you reccommend for rust repair on it. I love this car. My buddy said it was dog walking a little bit on my last test drive as well. Could the bent unibody be the cause of that?

Frame shop can square it up and then box the unibody frame in with good support structure.
Think of it as welding in a set of subframe connectors but box in the fkd up stucture to square it up.....or swap bodies. Just a view from my end. You can fix it with the right people, probably a race car shop.

Try doing a four wheel alignment on it, that will say a lot about how far off things are, if you can get all four wheels to track straight you could be just fine in reality, I would at some point want to weld metal gussets under there no matter what, but getting it straight is paramount.
