Curious if the 1g thermoswitches for the a/c and radiator are the same part number. I responded years ago to another thread that they were the same p/n, and now I'm not sure of myself after doing some more digging.

The p/n for the radiator switch is certainly: MB356704 as that's what's running in both of my 1gs and they work perfectly for the main road fan.

I've come across info from the same thread that p/n: MB568959 is the a/c thermoswitch, but can't find any corroborating info such as specs etc.

My talon doesn't have a/c, and the laser I don't believe I replaced the thermoswitch for the a/c, but the a/c works perfectly fine in it. Building another car and want to make sure what's usable where.

It would seem to me they'd be different part numbers, just looking for confirmation, anyone know for certain?

They are different sensors.

MB568959 cross-references through NAPA's website to Eichlin FS265. Thread is 3/8 BSPT.

Edit: also worth noting, they do use the same electrical connector.

Awesome thank you!

Maybe you could check RockAuto .. My ride is a V6 but it uses the same switch as the 2.4 Cyl..

First thing I tried, they don't have the a/c switch through rockauto as far as I could find.

Good to have the actual data, thanks @19Eclipse90
