They are not connected to anything with a gm alternator swap. You only need to connect the three wires, realistically, only two.

okay awesome, i hope your hear to help, tell me what to connect to where, and od i need to do anything special for resistant due to not having a dummy light?

S is actually the "sense" connection that will connect back to your "alt sens" wire in the engine bay fuse box. This "senses" the voltage of the system and up or down-regulates the alternator. The F wire goes to the alt relay that's also in the fuse box. Those are the only two wires you need. This is how the oem alternator is hooked up but realize there are other ways to do this. I don't have the car in front of me but I'm pretty sure this is correct^^

"S" to fuel pump relay feed.
"F" to switched 12v
"L" isn't needed if you're not running a light as "F" will turn on the alternator.

i dont have fuse boxes, both interior and exterior are gone LOL, like i said car is bare minimum. but i found what i was looking for in this thread, it states how to do it with ecmlink to ignore the code i have been getting, but i under stand the concept of what the wires do, i just didnt know about the ecu pins and how they corresponded to the saturn alt. but i got my answer from https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/saturn-alternator-causing-check-engine-light.369503/

Maybe we can add a reply to that article thread with wiring instructions... or at least post a link to another thread.
The last line says "Wiring is pretty straight forward, the large yellow wire goes to the F(black) wire on the saturn connector and the small black wire goes to the L(black w/ white stripe) on the saturn connector."

Yeah, I noticed that after I read it again.

Large yellow wire and small black wire on the harness side of alternator plug?

I just saw this.
The Yellow wire from the harness goes to the F connector (black wire if you're using a saturn harness) connector on the alternator.
The black wire from the harness goes to the black/white on the alt conector.
