I've been doing some digging and cant find much info on what to expect from the FP green on pump gas. I was hoping to make at least 450 whp. Is this unrealistic for that turbo ? If so does anyone have any experience with a quick spooling turbo to meet my goal. Thanks.

The Green is basically a billet TD06SL2 20G by the wheel specs. The loose 8cm2 turbine housing will help, but you're not likely to reach anywhere near 450whp on pump gas with such a turbo. I'd look in the Red if pump gas is a requirement- although the Red isn't likely to have the spool numbers you're looking for.

The master has spoken...

Correct me if I am wrong but those requirements may not match any turbo depending on your definition of fast spooling...

I plan on 400whp on a holset hx35 which spools mid-range but we will see where my actual numbers are here in a couple months when I can get the setup dynoed. I plan on upgrading cams in the not to distant future- Which will decrease spool times

If this setup interests you or something similar here you are:

There has to be some give and take...you can have a quick-spooling 450whp turbo but it won't be on pump gas. You can also have a 450whp pump gas turbo but it won't be quick-spooling. You'll need a little reinforcement from meth injection if you want to push any small compressor pretty hard on poor-quality fuel.

I had a green on my 2g for a long time. Motor was stock besides studs, mls hg, 660 injectors and afc. Dyno tuned on 116 and made 407 awhp at 26 or 28 psi (can’t remember). On 93, i think the limit was 22/23 psi. It’s was a fun turbo for me. Kinda wish I had that now LOL

Sadly bolt on housing and that power goal isn't a friendly task. Something like a hy35 would do the trick. It performs extremely well for how fast it spools.

HY35's are amazing. Easily the most-underrated pump gas turbo out there...the only downside is the necessity of a T3 manifold and custom-fabricated o2 housing- other than that there are zero negatives. I've had customers make 492whp and 562whp on pump gas with HY35's, and one Evo customer made 567whp with a 2.4L on pump gas with meth injection. The Evo saw 62 lb/min at 42psi a few months after the dyno session so there's a chance it would've been an even higher horsepower number.
