rotor hats finally started moving again! now got to call wilwood and see where my last rotor is LOL. also had an issue last week with my car not wanting to shift properly. would get stuck in 3rd then randomly down shift after the shift box had commanded a different gear. trying to diagnose that issue now. hoping to have it figured out before june 28th so we can go to ifo at dragway 42.

Wait, so they found them? That usually never happens when they lose something for me. Congrats on the good luck there. ;) Hope to see some picks of the car on the track posted here after June 28th!
yea i was getting nervous about them LOL. hopefully i can figure out this shifting issue so i can make it to the track. i guess with this covid stuff they are having issues at some of the distribution centers moving packages in a timely fashion. columbus ohio is one of them i guess.

Yeah, manpower is going to be an issue in the distribution arena for a while I'd imagine.

just got word from warren that my rotor hats are with the machinist to get started on. had him do a little something extra for mine as well. stay tuned for those updates.

New trans filter. Picking up new fluid as well to get it all ready.

You'll find those spacers about a week after the replacements come in, you know......:ohdamn:
Love the thread! I can't see the rotor hats on my end and I wanted to see them. I'll try my phone!!! :thumb:

I had that same thing happen on Memorial day. I "obtained" 2 factory 1g knock sensors, and as soon as they came in the door......I LOST THEM. Took me 3 weeks and they finally showed there selves, by the burn trash pile.....OMGOMGOMG

yea my luck with this car hasnt been too good the past few weeks. looks like i might be pulling a valve body to swap solenoids.

replacement washers came in. thinking as long as the weather is nice this weekend i might start pulling this thing apart and getting the trans filter changed and brakes swapped out.

It's not a hard thing just oily bolts. I wish I had set my line pressure just a tad higher when I had mine out. 1-1 1/2 turns instead of 2. :thumb:

i talked to my trans guy and he wants me to do a little test before i swap them. basically gonna do a make shift kiggly mod with toggle switches to see if it still does it with the shift box unhooked then go from there.

Oh I agree. You really dont HAVE to have switches but yes thats a good, direct test.

I hope my trans is ok too. I'm waiting on the end clutch kit to make sure the rest of the trans held up to welding 4th up solid....
