What's up guys! Here for a decent update!

Finally got around to fixing my exhaust leak and installing my ss o2 housing! This wasn't as easy as I remember it being but it came out after I found my issue.
For some reason I installed the lower most bolt I used one with a 17mm head instead of 14mm. That made it a challenge but I ground down a spare 17mm socket and removed my oil dipstick to get it on there.

Here's how the gasket looked, never use these they always fall apart like this is live and learn

I replaced it with the STM gasket and she purrs like a kitten.

Also got the hood installed :D

I had my 2 friends who run a body shop come over and line up the hood a little better and we installed the pins for the sparco latches!

Couldn't be happier with how this car is coming together!

More updates soon

Stay tuned!

You're build is awesome dude and the work you've put into it really come through in your pics. What are you working on next?
Next project is installing the depowered rack and pinion, remove all the power steering lines, pump and pulley and get an alignment.

At the same time I'll probably install the chromoly north south bar I've had for a while. After that just clean it up and get it ready for a car show here in Utah. Hopefully that actually happens with the Covid virus going around.

Thanks again for the kind words they really mean a lot!

Absolutely love this color! Great build, something so enjoyable about watching our community restore these awesome vehicles. Great job and I look forward to seeing what you continue to do in the future.

Hey guys and gals I have an update that kinda stinks.

I went to turn the car on last Tuesday and it just wouldn't run, checked everything as far as sensors and battery no issues there.

Pulled the ECU and this is what I found
20200505_165844.jpg

I shipped it out the next day to ECMlink and Thomas and Dave have recieved and are going to repair it for me. Turns out it's a blown sensor ground.

I went back and looked at my logs and my damn alternator has been spiking to 15.2V once in a while. That is getting switched out and asap.

Do not hesitate to support ECMlink they are such a great company and these guys do this for our platform for what seems like pennies on the dollar. Couldn't be happier with the communication and detail on my repair order.

Stay tuned kids!

Hey guys and gals! I'm back with some good news!

The spyder is fixed and it was a dumb mistake on my part LOL I ended up having to extend the wires to reach the plug and wired the 5v ground to the heater circuit wire :D

Shes all fixed and running great now!

I also was lucky enough to score these for her locally I couldn't be more excited!

Comp 272 cams! I'm going to start gathering some parts and getting my spare head ready to do a swap over and see how these do!

Stay tuned!

Any updates?
Hey man! Thanks for the interest, Not much has changed lately, I had a spare head built and have had it sitting on my work bench for a few months, it will be getting installed soon and I'll be turning up the boost a little bit.

I've also sold my Evo 8 Recaro seats and am currently in the market for a pair of nice after market seats. I will be going with Corbeau seats just not sure which exact model just yet. Corbeau is local to me so I'm going to visit their warehouse and sit in a few different seats to decide which I actually like and order them from a local shop who's a distributor.

Other than that, the old gal gets driven here and there to keep her regular and enjoy the sun :)

I like how good it looks with oem eagle bumper, I'm kind of surprised, never was a fan kept buying aftermarket, but I'm sure oem mostly fits, unlike aftermarket.

Hey guys! I got some seats :D

Ended up at Corbeau this past Friday as they are local and willing to take an appointment so I can test out a few different seat models I was interested in. After trying a few he brought this one out.

LG1 Suede

At first I wasn't the biggest fan of the Suede but after sitting in the seat for about 10 minutes It was by far the most comfortable of the three models I was interested in.

I decided to buy these as they were ready and in stock! I also purchased the seat bracket and rails from them so I could be one and done stop.

I ran a few more errands that day and when I finally got back home I started taking my old Recaro seats out and installing these :)

While I was in there I decided to install my black seatbelts and buckles I've had for probably 4 years in a box on my shelf, Took a little longer but I'm glad I did, I forgot to take some close up pictures of them but they look so much better than the grey in the interior. I also vacuumed the whole interior and underneath the rear seats while everything was taken apart.

And finally, The seats installed :D :D :D

It got dark or I would have taken pictures outside in the day light.

They sit maybe an inch taller than OEM seats but guys, These seats are so comfortable! They are square and fit so nicely I seriously am so happy! The upper bolsters are just hugging you. I'm 6'1" about 200lbs and these are very nice, If you're a bigger person I'd suggest the wide version of this seat as it adds a few inches in width.

Let me know what you guys thing! Stay Tuned :)
