Like many parts for our cars there seems to be fewer and fewer options.

I'm not finding anything concerning a hood liner for a 1G and I found only a couple places that to custom hoodliners but they don't seem to want to make it for our hoods.

Is there anything out there that bolts on or is this a custom fabrication of just some hoodliner material?

I was able to find these but no original replacements. Looks like DIY for that.

dynamat and a few other companies make a hoodliner that is adhesive backed I believe. I just did my roof in similar material. Should be pretty straightforward just remove your hood and stick it on like vinyl using a heat gun to get it to flex properly

Could also use DEI goldwrap if you want to have a gaudy engine bay

If you are looking for that firewall material that some cars use as hoodliner that will be a custom job for sure

Thanks, I'll try this and see how it goes with 3M 90 adhesive and some hood tabs. I'll report back after a couple weeks of it on the car.
