i just purchased evoscan a week or two ago and noticed they didn't have Throttle position sensor voltage to log. Well i noticed that you can create new items to log. I'm trying to setup the new item but having a little trouble doing so. Would this be the correct value for voltage for my TPS voltage:

request ID: 17
Eval: 0.01952*x
Unit: V
Response Bytes: 1
Gaugemin: 0
Gaugemax: 5
Chartmin: 0
Chartmax: 5
scaling factor: 1

I have a feeling that my request id is wrong. could someone read over this and help me make some corrections? Thank you

The ecu uses 255(0xFF) for the max TPS value(5 volts).

For % you would use: x*100/255

For Volts you would use: x*5/255 or x*0.01961

0.01952*x, is very close, but might be off a millivolt or two.

TPS RequestID is 17.

Thank you ceddy! I was hoping you would jump in and answer quickly LOL.

I assumed since the o2 sensors eval. was 0.01952*x for 5 volts and tps sensor voltage wants to see 5 volts at WOT, i thought it could be the same eval but hey atleast I was close LOL. Thanks again for the help man.

I hope others can use this eval. to read TPS voltage on evoscan. I need it to set my TPS correctly for .63 volts while the throttle plate is closed.

Well just an update with the new eval., I was able to set my TPS and log TPS volatage. This thread is RESOLVED!

Wanted to bump that anyone trying to set there TPS with evoscan this is a great method. Dialed it right in for me. In my case i could only get .6270~ V and .6470v (not .63 which is ideal) and abt 4.8 throttle.. not sure if you can actually get exactly .63v with the above values but it fixed my tps problems just great.
