Just wanted to say hello to all who participate in this forum. Have been ghosting threads pulling info while restoring my 98 talon with eclipse conversion. Car was neglected and sat for 10+ years. Past threads have been a great help in bringing it back to life. Thought it was a good time to join and become a part of this community.

Hey Dan, just joined myself! The information here on DSM forum is probably better than trying to interpret the factory service manual LOL....lots of helpful people who have shared good stuff to help out....I have a 98 GST and I've been restoring all the parts that were missing, faulty or abused and finally got it running ok for now...still needs tinkering and a good tune.....is your car an all wheel drive?
One thing i just found out, is that the Eagles were never exported so that makes them really unique...no JDM anything for the Eagle Talons! Pretty cool right?

Welcome Dan. Please do get your vehicle profile set up when you can so we can check out the specs and more photos. ;)
Thanks for the welcome Ludachris, I’ve got my profile all set up and pics posted, unfortunately I’m having some trouble linking it to my messages

Hello Jake thanks for the welcome! Unfortunately it’s not :( I had a 90 tsi awd back in the day. Have always missed that car. Checked out your ride, very nice! Love the colour, looks like it’s coming along! Best of luck with the resto!
