So I swapped the intake manifold gasket out, copper sprayed the gasket itself, the egr gasket, and the throttle body gasket. I put everything back together on the car and it will crank but not start for over a second. I left my food floored on the throttle and it still would sputter and die and I have no clue what could’ve gone wrong

My mods are 750cc injectors, 14b, walbro 255, vrsf fmic, egr vac lines blocked off, Halman mbc, ngoni bpr6es, ecmlink v3

Well if you copper sprayed everything you could've got it where it doesnt belong. And also there isnt any reason as to why you would need to put copper spray on your gaskets especially on the intake manifold. Brand new gaskets and making sure the surface is clean then following torque should seal it off.

How long did you wait before starting the car after getting it all back together? The sealant needs time to setup, also is every sensor and vacuum lines connected back correctly? Do a boost leak test to make sure there is no leaks.

CTS come unplugged??

Okay, the car is at my friends shop about 30 minutes away. I’m gonna run by there today and see what I can do and I can post up some pics on here

I waited an hour or two to start it back up but they were pretty much dry before I put them on

Plugs are all 4 wet and everything seems to be plugged in but this

Not sure how good the pictures came out but I tried to get most angles of it, I can take off the intercooler piping to clear up some space. The plug wires aren’t connected im just covering the plug holes because I’m going to do a compression test in a few

What car are you working on (1g a/b, 2g a/b )?

In a 2g there are 2 triangle connectors, a crank and a the AC compressor connector which they both can be plugged to each other, make sure you didn’t connect the crank to the ac compressor, otherwise it will never start.
2ga

Than
They are at the right side of the head.

Check the ac compressor connector and the crank connector they both are identical so check you have the right one connected to the crank sensor.
Thanks I’ll give it a look

Have you checked your transistor? Make sure it's plugged in properly, check your connections too in case you or someone else didn't pull on the pins from them, probably not making contact with a sensor. Also, as stated above, the "triangle" connections, I had that happen to my self before, swapped them and didn't turn on. Double check

I’ll check again on Thursday when I go mess with it, and I put a new transistor in 3 weeks ago

Also after I changed the gasket it started and there was a terrible noise so I shut it off for a few minutes and turned it back on, it idled steady til it was warm but when I went to rev it and check the throttle response it just misfired and shut off. That’s when it never really started again
