I'm making progress, but still getting one count here and there. I'm noticing a difference between AFTEst and LC1WB that wasn't there before, although it is about 20 degrees cooler today than before. At what point does rich knock become a factor? LC1WB got to 10.4. I don't THINK this is my knock issue, but still curious. Took another degree of timing out LoadFactor 1.4 and 1.6. After this log, I reduced MAFComp 2% from 1200-1800, and 4% from 1900-2000.

10.4 shouldn't cause knock. It's leaner than the stock evo 8 fuel table. You have hit the bottom of the stock timing map where the engineers in the mid '80s went 'We can stop here. That part of the map will never get used. Just make it all the same.' That's where I used the evo 8 map as a guide to extend my timing table. Good thing you have injectors on the way seeing as you are at 80% duty at peak revs. Maybe pull 1 more degree of timing out where you are knocking and see how it goes seeing as you are only on 91, but .4 deg of knock isn't too terrible. Once summer hits you it may get worse though.

Ive developed a stutter at around 11 psi. I suspect a BL or plugs out of gap. Log posted for comment. This was notices when attempting a 15psi knock check. I'll do a BLT and new plugs tomorrow. It's not severe, just less ... go. Injector duty cycle peaks at 80, fuel flow at 80l/hr, well within range of my 190wally.

I knew this time was coming near, just didn't know what to look for. I do have the stock MAF currently installed. I have a 399 MAF on the way, just trying to source an adapter. Because of California smog, I like the option of being able to switch to the stock set up for that one day.

I'm hoping to hear back from a guy on galantvr4.org who makes 'em. If that is unsuccessful, I know extremepsi has them for $50+shipping. Any other sources?

I've been able to make some progress. I got a 3g MAF, and some 560 injectors. Still getting knock on a severely retarded timing map. At this point, I suspect a faulty knock sensor. The goo hasn't melted out, but it does seem really squishy. I also found a small boost leak from my throttle body shaft, so that's next on my list. If someone has a source for a 1G knock sensor, I'd love to hear it. I have one on order from China, but who knows when that's coming.
