Anyone else experiencing major shipping Delays through STM? I ordered an ARP bolt kit for the FP race manifold over a week ago and it still hasn't shipped. I've ordered from them quite a few times, even as recent as 3 weeks ago, and usually things are out the door within a couple days of ordering.

Figured I'd see if anyone else was experiencing issues before reaching out to STM. I know it's extra busy in the auto parts industry right now due to the added downtime for those of us with project cars, along with the stimulus money sent out a few weeks back.. don't want to bother them if it's an issue across the board..

I've been hearing that some shops are starting to run into problems with their distributors. Not sure if that's the case here, but it easily could be. No harm in asking them though.
Yeah, that's why I'm hesitant to bother them. If it's something others are experiencing as well, there's no sense in me clogging up the phone lines.

That's pretty considerate of you. My first thought was that they should probably let you know if there's something holding things up, but then again, I have know idea if they've had to reduce staff during this time, making it more difficult to keep their customers updated. Patience is probably extremely appreciated right now.

Probably similar to ECMTuning they have had to limit the amount of people in the shop and some people only come in certain days. You could always send an email and they will get to it when they can. This is what I did with ECMTuning still awaiting a reply though, someone might be able to answer here though :D. My ECU needs eprom conversion $195 listed on their site however there isn't a conversion and socket option together so I am wondering does this conversion also offer the socket included at $195?

My fuel pumps that I ordered Friday night just shipped today:hellyeah:, if you haven’t gotten an email notification yet I guarantee their probably just on back order or something, there’s been a time or two in the past where a week or two went by and when I called them that’s all it was, otherwise like others have said they ship super fast! I love those guys:rocks:

They state that if you're buying an ecmlink package at the same time, you get a discount on the conversion service. How much, I don't know, but once in your cart it should show the difference. My guess is it drops to $145-155ish.

I really hate to necro an over month old thread but I am having a similar experience with STM. I ordered a rear prothane kit 19 days ago and haven't heard anything. I tried calling a few times after about a week and a half and emailed the other day but there is no answer on the phone or reply via email. I really don't know what to do. I know with recent events anything could have happened and things there might be super hectic but any word even if it's an automated "hey we haven't forgotten about you but we dont have an ETA yet" goes a long way. Service with them up until now has been great and business with them has been a pleasure. I hope everything there is okay.

It's not an STM issue, it's an issue with their suppliers that unfortunately rolls downhill. My ARP bolt kit that I had ordered previously did eventually show up, and I did actually get ahold of someone at STM during the delay period. The problem was that everyone was out of stock on the bolts, and production had been shut down due to the pandemic. Once they finally received a fresh shipment of the bolts, I had them in hand next day.

I'm actually back in a similar predicament again, as my 1G BoV is leaking at 17 psi (I could crush it, but I'm not a fan of the whistling sounds it makes) so I ordered a GReddy type FV about a week ago along with some other small bits and pieces. Still no shipping confirmation :idontknow:

Unfortunately, due to government mandated shutdowns for a virus that turned out to be mildly worse than the flu, this is the world we now live in...

Placed an order last week, not issues and shipped right away. Ordered main studs Monday morning and they still haven’t shipped. Called them and they say to email them. Emailed them twice with no response. Anyone know if something’s going on over there?

I ordered a few different thing from STM back on May 26th. I got my 16G install kit withing a couple of days but it took over three weeks to get the rest of the parts I ordered. It definitely seems to be a distribution issue and not necessarily something that STM is mismanaging.

My tactrix cable took way too long for them to ship a while back... I chalked it up to covid19 delays. The email/no call thing seems reaaaaally odd.. Personally, I would order them from another vendor if they won't communicate by phone.

They have always been great in the past, so I am guessing it is temporary... fingers crossed communication lines are restored for you!

I had a similar issue towards the end of last month. I ordered a few different parts and received some really fast and the rest took over three weeks to get. It seems to be some sort of distribution issue with their suppliers. I made many attempts to contact them as well but never got an answer. I can understand the wait on parts given the state of things but they really should put some sort of effort into responding to inquiries.

I ordered everything from extremepsi but they were out of stock on the main studs. So I didn't think anything of it, just that they were out of stock. But I'm guessing STM is also out of stock and that's why they can't ship. It's just odd they won't reply to my email after paying them. I get everyone is busy and all that, but they should still have the common courtesy to get back to you especially after payment. Me emailing them was not to expedite shipping, it was actually to add a seal to the order.

Oddly enough, the 16G install kit I bought from STM was an ExtremePSI one and that's what came within a few days. Everything else I bought was Mitsubishi parts (I should have just went to the dealer in hindsight) and those took forever. You would think that the distribution chain with Mitsubishi would have been better than that but who knows. I agree though, their lack of communication or even effort to try to communicate is what is frustrating. I'm not saying I won't shop with them again but I may take a look elsewhere before I do.

I have never and would never order from them based on their behaviors/attitudes in the past at the shootout, as far as whats going on there now, I couldn't say but there were times that it has been this way from them before, I had heard that there where internal relationship issues last time that was the cause, its anyone's guess at this point, Extreme Psi gets my Mitsu money.
