Is there any recommendations in the Indy region or south near Louisville for a engine machining?
Figured I'd have my block prepped for new crank/rods/pistons.

Richards Cylinder Heads located in SW Indy. A couple minutes off I-465

They can take a while to get your stuff done and sometimes take longer than they originally say but I've only had an issue with them once when I needed them to line bore cam journals in a head that the caps had been lost. The guy that messed it up ended up fired later. Besides that I have had them do all sorts of other work done and their work and prices have always been good.

They do not only do cylinder heads as the name would imply so it took me a while to find them originally but I'm glad I did.

I would also strongly recommend against Schmidt Machine on the East side of Indianapolis. I brought them a block to bore and they didn't even take the pistons out of the box to get proper clearance on the final hone and soaked me an extra 100 bucks for a hot tank and magnaflux after I told them I didn't want a magnaflux and I had already cleaned the block at work myself , another time they milled a head for me and ran the cutter over it so fast that the head gasket leaked oil when the engine was running. STEER CLEAR. I am pretty sure they take 4 cylinder engines as a joke. When I asked about having a little extra clearing than normal when they did the block he acted as if it was ridiculous that I was building it as a performance motor
