Do you think the half filled block magnified the knock at all @jed344 ?

I think so. The car still always picks up .4-.7 of knock retard around 6,000rpm just a blip or two. I shut the sensor off and tuned it off the plugs. So it’s picking up something that is not knock. Car is at 13 degrees up top now with plugs looking perfect. The timing mark on plugs looks like it’s getting close. Will have to put it on dyno to find the max timing it wants. I think this set up will make some serious jam though. Maxed out walbro 450 at 31psi. Currently waiting on walbro 525.

You will like the 525. I have it in my 92 auto car and she keeps up just fine with boost (I am logging fuel pressure). I just wondered if the "fill" made the knock more sensitive to the sensor. I am at a max timing of a whole 5* on crappy 91 and am ready to get her on E85 to see what kind of jam I can make (and get my WG lined out for more than 33#'s of boost!).

No problem. I do think the 1/2 fill makes the knock sensor become to sensitive. Im guessing the car will want another 2-3 degrees but won’t know till it’s on dyno.
