I could run my Kelford 264s to 9k on SuperTech Single springs Tony. Usually only in 1st and 2nd.
I upgraded to Kiggly Beehives for the 272's when I get that motor back together, not that I plan to run it any harder but moved the Supertechs over to my Blue auto car along with the cams.

You will like them. Do you know the spring # rating?

It looks like they are 66# springs, if they are Manley singles like STM sells. The SuperTech singles are 76# and the Kiggly Beehives are 94# I believe just for reference.

I would strongly recommend switching over to kiggly beehive springs and setting up the proper steps height. I recently made the change as I'm running the kelford 276/276 combo with a s366 t4. Kelfords are know for having more aggressive lift. I would keep in mind what turbo your running and when you desire to reach full boost. Last thing you want is your valves floating. If you are in my shoes I would atleast want to rev out to 8500-9000 with the size of the turbo to have a good power band.

It will make your bottom side pucker!!!! But once you've been there, it becomes more un-nerving. You can't tune it unless you log it, so I let her rev one day and had a good log to see if I needed to change anything up top. I always let the Red Talon hit the 9k limiter in 1st and then hit 2nd. I loved that car and can't wait to get it back on the road for my Red, White and Blue DSM collection. :)

Running a 68hta so I hit full boost around 5800 iirc. I’d go with the kiggly beehive but I got these for a good deal. Plan on reving to 8k for now.

I can’t wait either. Between the tranny and O2 housing, she’s been down way too long

And 16 bent valves.......which are all fixed now but the RA on the head isn't good enough so I have to strip it and take it to my new machine shop. He is slow but gives me a good product. My new man has the 7 bolt crank I am waiting on to build my oldest son's short block. I should have it TODAY, YAY!

Don’t forget to boost plays a role in picking springs. The valve when shut also is holding boost pressure against the backside of it. I would also recommend not revving it to high without some beehives. I am not sure a HTA68 will even be making power over 7,500rpm to make it worth while revving higher.

Think you're right. Don't think it makes power past 7500
