Anyone have a problem with the valve cover gasket leaking soaking the exhaust manifold / header gasket causing blue smoke?

Is it on the right side? Cause i’m having the same issue leaking oil but the bolts on my valve cover won’t stay on so i know that problem but not on the side i can’t figure out where that’s coming from.

On the passenger side front of the cover I can see mine seeping from the cover ... just put a full exhaust on it fired it up all good for the first couple of times sat for awhile the started it and seen the dreaded blue smoke... the bolts on mine are tight but unsure if previous own reused a gasket because the valve cover has been painted ... driver side has a sensor they say it leaks around I think the o ring goes bad on it but not 100 percent sure on that

It's the cam sensor I believe that the o ring drys up and lets oil leak out around it

Might wanna check that gasket to see if it’s still any good. I’m gonna do the same thing as i just bought it a few days ago. I didn’t think about taking it off because i wasn’t sure if the guy changed the head on it because i looked around on here and i think i can solve my bolt issue but i don’t know what the previous guy done on it. I’m just getting into these DSMs so i wanna be extra careful with what i do

Yeah I'm in the same boat just kinda going with the flow on mine I did do the full exhaust header back on mine
I have one a apexi exhaust the guy threw in with the car when i bought it can’t put it on though cause it has no clamps to hold the muffler up. I’m honestly just trying to figure this out to be honest with you the way the cover sits on the bolts has me thinking they might not even be bolts at all but instead a stud conversion. I’m literally losing my sanity over this car any help would be appreciated if you know anyone familiar with them

On the valve cover mine has kind of a double ened stud with a washer and nut to tighten it down

Is that what u was meaning on the valve cover right?
Yeah i only have bolts but they don’t seem to fit i have no washers or nuts holding them down it’s kind of like a bolt with a middle spaced in between and there’s thread on it like it screws in but it doesn’t screw in at all

I just need some bolts to hold it down man haha it’s a purple cover don’t know if they came like that oem so if i had a bit of information on what is what that would be great. Look like double sided bolts with spacers in between them. 2 of them on each opposite end of the ignition wires. The outer ones are fine they go in just the ones next to the spark plug wires are not staying on
