I guess we're all just a bunch of nutty beings stuck on the 90's and stuck on the gas pedal.

And I'm just stuck in the endless loops of trying to find the perfect GSX and trying to make a slow car go fast.

FWIW here is my take.

When I was looking for a gsx/tsi awd I would constantly find 2gnt on facebook and the only awd platform was either fully built by a shop and going for over 12k or beat to hell. I live in the central jersey/philly area at the moment so the rust isnt too kind and there are a lot of beat up cars around here. Even the car that got me into the DSM lifestyle is slowly rotting away :'(

As far as 4g63t vs 420a platform goes. I fully believe they are both amazing platforms with a timeless body to match. I've done a lot of digging into the 420a turbo path and a lot of people say when that engine is built the right way and the right mods it can perform extremely well and reliably at that.

Honestly I think the 420a if taken care of is pretty bullet proof. The 4g63 from what I've seen you have to get a lot more serious than bolt ons a street tune and send it. Everything I've read on the 4g63 has been "build it strong and tune it right or you will have problems", maintenance and all that but I think that goes for any car you know? Other platforms like civics and the sr20dett you can just send it.

Havent seen as many car people around like I used to, maybe the economy and our age has to do with it like y'all said "growing up" and what not.

All in all I love these cars, amazing cars to get into for someone who wants to get into any type of the car scene and not have to throw upwards of 50k into a car that costs 45k like I see some youtubers doing with the new subis.
