I'm with Henry on this, buy it T.
6 bolt, if it rotated over buy hand you could tell if it had a problem. I have a small block chevy crank tool that works with our cranks too. Just fits over the snout of the crank and keyway, but it probably still has the balancer so a 1/2 breaker bar/ratchet would work.
I still hope you get a chance to buy it! :thumb:

The guy I bought my tranny from has a refreshed 6 bolt, no squirters with a 7 bolt head and a nice valve cover for $200. Probably won’t use the valve cover though. That’s why I wasn’t too worried to score this one.

Why was it squirter deleted?

Why was it squirter deleted?

Honestly can’t tell you. When I saw it, it didn’t have any accessories. I didn’t really look that closely at it since I wasn’t in the market for one.

Why was it squirter deleted?

I deleted the squirters on Krakatoa's block, I'm not a fan of the 2g squirters, and after taking one of mine out I found it and 2 others were stuck open. This would lower pressure and volume to the rest of the system, so I deleted them. Frankly, street cars and most street/strip cars don't need piston squirters IMO.

But that's another thread derailment topic, haha.

Really??? My sons block just had that one that was noticeably less flow so a little brake cleaner and it was flowing like the rest. I'm glad I tested the back flow since I saw the check balls. I like the under piston cooling myself so I keep it. Did it raise oil pressure much? I fear washing out bearings with too much pressure. High Volume is ok but I just don't want higher oil Pressure. Glad you are sharing! :thumb:
