I have not done a leak down test... I have no shop air in my garage until I trench in a 220V line from the house... hopefully soon - as well as a gas line for heat next winter. It sucks being so limited for so much of the year.

haha no surprise... hard to keep track with months between updates. I spent all evening re-organizing the garage. Converted part of my giant shelving unit into another work space using a 30x60 Snap-on stainless steel work surface. It's meant to go on an Epic series roll cab, but it fits my 30" depth shelving unit very nicely!

No sign of oil on the plugs. It must be pushing through the oil seal...? crap... I put a new oil feed line on it from the OFH location (same place it was fed from when I bought the car and the turbo was blown) when I put the turbo on. The drain line looks good... I am not too sure what would cause this but it is a new chra in old housings, maybe it was just defective. I guess ill send it back to g-pop once I convince myself there's nowhere else the oil could be coming from...

Edit 9/10/20: The problem was about a quart of oil in the exhaust system from the previous failed turbo, and yes I feel dumb about it... I would not have found this if I hadn't upgraded my other car, and used the Megan downpipe from that car on this one. When I pulled the hacked up stock downpipe, it dumped a crap ton of oil. I drained the catback of less, but still a considerable amount oil before reassembling it. I also ditched the stock drain line for a -10an drain line from the silver car (used fittings, new hose). Not saying that was an issue, but it happened...
