I was wondering how exactly do I need to press apart the shaft for replacing the 1/2 synchro.
Thanks.
EDIT: While inspecting the gear stack, I noticed that my synchronizers did not look like the stock fiber material, nor did they look like brass ones. I tried scratching one lightly on the squared ring section, and it was metal for sure. Then I was able to stick a magnet to it. So, I thought that the stock synchronizers were made of a "compressed paper" or a "fiber mesh"? I haven't found any steel synchronizers on the market, and can't find any threads referring to them.
Do I have some type of special custom made synchros? Is there there a missing piece of information in the NV-T350 world?
Thanks.
