No start issue.

I don't have any pictures yet but I just replaced a timing belt/balance shaft bolt on a 1999 spyder 4g64. Potentially, the cam timing is off and I'll confirm whether or not that is the case tomorrow.

One thing that makes me curious is the spark pattern. I was extremely limited on tools today so I used the old "screwdriver in the plug lead trick" to check for spark. Has anybody come across this before?

Hopefully this comes out in a manner that is understandable.
Spark plug #1,4 test. has spark. Tick................ Tick................ Tick................ Tick..................
Spark plug #2,3 test . has spark. Tick,Tick,Tick,Tick,Tick,Tick,Tick,Tick,Tick,Tick,Tick,Tick,Tick,Tick,Tick,

Tried a different ignitor and coil pack but same results. Any thoughts?

Thank you sir. Good thread. I will be going back to look at the car again tomorrow so I will be giving it a more thorough look than i had a chance to do today. Car is outside and it started downpouring so i decided to quit and do other things.

Anybody have any thoughts on why one coil pack would be firing slowly while the other one has a more rapid spark on crank?
