im looking around at nitrous kits and was curious if a ecmlink is able to control the nitrous like a typical standalone ecu. i know that ecmlink is a "standalone" but it runs off the stock ecu so technically it is not. im curious if the link could set the nitrous to hit at a lower rpm to help spool. i do know nitrous isnt good at low rmp though so idk what it best. im only wanting like a 25-35 shot. just somthing to help spool. will the instaboost do what im looking for if the esmlink cant? what is the best kit for my build? i will be running the quarter often with a fp black non ball bearing.

I have mine wired in thru link. It's not perfected yet as I burnt up a NOS solenoid playin with the link settings so as soon as I figure mine out I'm right there. Our track opened up but rained out today. I can keep you posted.

please do. also whats your power? only asking because im looking around for answers about my t case and trans.

You can use the FPS output on Ecmlink to control nitrous. If you go to their website and click the knowledge base tab you can search nitrous and find all the wiring and control info.
That is how I have mine wired. I have the EBC on the EGR pin and SOMEHOW, I left the FPS tab on with values that I was testing with, leaving the solenoid on for A LONG TIME,....until there was smoke and PANIC... :ohdamn:

Mid to high 400's on shitty 91 and 5* timing. On E there is a BIG hp increase, which I am ready for. She's already fast. I did a mock stall up yesterday and ran it to 100 and shut her down. Took 8.5 seconds according to link. Our track is open but canceled due to rain yesterday or I would have went just to have a time slip for comparing later.

What’re you running transmission wise?

W4A33 AWD auto with Kiggly 5 pack 3rd gear and the SmartShift 100.1

Those were the correct listed output listed on link, I would recommend you run anything you control through a relay as the ECU is not setup for any high amperage components such as a NO2 solenoid.

For example I use link to control my shift light, LED circuit equals low load no relay.
For my fuel pump I control it's secondary output through a relay as the ECU is isn't setup to run a fuel pump.
I run my entire NO2 setup independent of link, mostly because I'm out of outputs/inputs, but it can do it no problem.

Absolutely on targe! ECU's can only handle grounding a relay to do the "work". :thumb:
My relay was working OVERTIME........
