Here on DSMTuners, we now have a section for misc. vehicles profiles. You should make those types of profiles for each of your other interesting rides and have individual build threads, that way you can keep this one on-topic! :thumb:
Yes! But I dont want to have a bunch of threads that I'm gona keep updating and flood the section with my threads. One is enough for me :)

Next thing up. Was I hated being wingless. So I found an OEM spoiler really cheap that was silver and had the clear coat on the carbon fiber peeling. Had it re cleared and repainted. I had a fully loaded 2017 wrx for about 6 months. Didnt keep it long. Very boring car.

Did the basic boltons. Intake, had the exhaust , dp and a high flow cat, swapped over to speed density, walbro fuel pump and a greddy bov. The stock IC piping set me back.
Made 280whp 310 tq

Wasnt happy with the power output. So I added a full ETS intercooler kit and changed over to a Turbo Xs RFL BOV. I love this thing. Added some videos of it. Car went from 280 to 336 just from the intercooler

Some updates for the Dsm. The crower cams, springs/ retainers have been installed. The car is idling nicely and the install went smoothly. I also got my diffuser from special carbon installed. Shes almost 100% complete. Cars back with the painter to get detailed.

Nice!

Maybe you could dyno it again? I think it'd be cool to see a before and after cams result. Not many have done this and it's got something to prove.

Oh it needs to be tuned definately. But unfortunately I wont be able to provide numbers on the cams alone because I've added so much during the winter (see below). I can only compare my old setup to this new one. I haven't tuned it yet for any of the new mods. But it will be same dyno and tuner and he will be able to have my old numbers vs. My new ones on the same graph so you can see the difference.

The old setup:
T25 turbo, ETS incooler, custom hard pipes, 60mm hks catback exhaust , megan dp, walbro fuel pump, custom intake w/ k&n filter, speed density, hks ssq bov, vibrant high flow cat. 211whp 268 ft tq

New setup:
Garrett big T28 turbo, 3in custom exhaust to hks carbon fiber muffler, 550cc dethwerks injectors, Brian crower stage 2 cams, springs/retainers, and cam gears, FP exhaust manifold
Goal: 265-280 whp.

If I were you I'd have went went slightly larger injectors, because it's not hard to run out of injector when modding. BUT, it looks like your injectors are enough to reach your goal.

Nice build man, still following along...

550cc are stock evo size injectors . I'll have more than enough with space left over if I ever wanted more

So I got the car back from the body shop today. First time I've driven it since the cams were on. I noticed a huge exhaust leak. Called my mechanic and he fixed it. Vband came lose on the exhaust. So cruised a little today and I'm quite surprised how it drives with the cams not being properly tuned. It's got a little rough idle and a small blurp from the exhaust, but driving it feels normal. Made some vids of it.

Tuning can be done but from my understanding, to get the most out of your cams, you will want to degree them properly. That's not something you can do with tuning. I know some manufacturers are known to be way out of spec (BC cams) whilst others are known to be pretty spot on (HKS) but idk so much about it all. I just asked because I would love to see the difference between a tuned car with cams installed straight up vs degreed to spec.

Set to zero right now till my tune. I'm not to proficient on the tuning side. I just got the cam gears for looks. I'm pretty sure everything can be tuned in dsmlink?

Haha really? Caus everything I read on here was the cams can only be degreed properly once your on a dyno LOL.

So I drove the car last night. And with the headlights on the car had a worse idle. Not to to bad but with the headlights on the interior lights were pulsating with the exhaust tone of the car. Not to proficient in ecmlink, so I just went to bump the idle up a little to see how it would react. I went up to 900 rpms. And it solved all that pulsating and the cam blurps arent to noticable at all anymore. Everything on the gauges seem about right, vacuum looks ok for being cammed. Took another video and its noticable how it sounds better , compared to the previous one. Video has headlights on.

So, back to the evo. I'm completely satisfied with the power output. Dont need anymore. So now it was time for some suspension and wheels. Went with HKS suspension. This is an awesome set. I have tiens on the DSM and there a complete joke compared to the HKS.
For wheels, can never go wrong with Volk Te37's. I also sourced JDM evo 7 tails, way better than the USDM altezza lights.
