Alright, what is the best turbo manifold I should get for my 420a?? I've hurd people going the route of getting a 4g63 mani and swapping the flanges. Is there any good manifolds for sale or do I have to buy a 4g63 mani and make it work??

I agree but I have a 420a‍♂️♂️. I also hear that the srt4 mani might be a fit aswell. Idk what to do.

The race manifold has long been discontinued. They are hard to come by now a days. I believe symtech and tread stone only did a few batches of these manifolds.

Also OP don’t try to order off symtech’s website. They have been out of business for some time now.

I have the 420a race manifold and it is pretty dang sweet.

Man that thing is delicious

That race manifold is scrumptious! Just checked symtech and they are out of stock on the mani so probably cuz they dont make it anymore. I think I'll look at getting a 4g63 mani and jimmy rig it to work LOL.

EDIT: sorry it's the whole flange itself you you take from a 420a manifold and weld onto a 4g63t manifold. Basically just swapping flanges is a way to do it,then your next step would be the piping and where everything goes. Nitrokid98 on youtube made a bunch of videos about his 420a turbo build, not all of them are very in depth but the information will help you tons

I've seen nitrokid's vids they are helpful. What are some good manifolds for the 4g63? Sounds like imma have to go that route

I believe with exhaust flow the less aggressive a bend the better. With turbo systems you need to expel the exhaust gas as efficiently as possible

Do some research one which manifold style has the best flow, look around and price some stuff out. Maybe you can get one used?

I saw a couple on eBay I was going to send you links to but dang those have gone up in price. I have never personally owned an OBX manifold so I can’t speak to how crappy or not super crappy they are but it’s a far cry from a nice manifold esp at the $350+ price they are at on eBay.
