420a Turbo kit 95-99 Eclipse Talon - TREADSTONE PERFORMANCE
I was searching on the web and came across this turbo kit that's signifigantly less than an hrc kit, so I was wondering if anyone has used this kit before or if there is any information about it from people who have used it.

Looks good to me, HRC and Treadstone are the most recommended kits for our motors unless you want to piece it together yourself.

i had that turbo kit and loved it comes with almost everything definitely legit

+1 on what everyone else said thats supposed to be a good kit.

I would buy that turbo kit over ANY kit out there, all you have to buy after that is fuel mods.

ok, so would you guys recommend this one over the HRC one? Because I hear a lot of good things about the hrc one from one of my buddies

Its going to boil down to whether you want to do the searching on how to install the fuel system (weather its ms or fmu, sfmu, ect) and weld a flex section to the end of the dump tube (it will fit with stock the fans, trust me on this one), or buy Hahn's turbo system with instructions and everything you need to get you started. Both are great kits, one has a better price.

hahn is a great complete bolt on kit, but many people end up replacing the fuel system parts (i.e. their regulator and inline fuel pump) with a fmu or vortech sfmu or MSnS or even the Portfueler and they replace the inline pump with an intank walbro.

Figuring out your own basic fuel system is not really hard, a fmu and a walbro fuel pump should take about 1 hr to install and you're good to go for about 7-8psi

Edit: IDK if the treadstone kit still comes with the below intercooler, but I've seen some install pics of it and it looks kinda crappy. I'm also pretty sure you've still gotta fab up your own intercooler piping.



edit again: IMO if you use name brand parts the only way you can go cheaper than the treadstone kit is with used parts, it really is a good deal

that's wired because I whent into the website a while back and it was there the turbo kit, it was 1,750 almost 2 grand idk but thanks for the reply..

I don't see it on their website anymore.
