Second test the host removed a cat and upped boost and you’re gonna sit there and tell me that’s not gonna skew results.

get the f*** outta dodge dude. Lol. And I’m the asshole.

I’ll say it ONE more Time... If going 35 frame from Garrett. Run the GTX3582R and compensate with boost. You’ll probably be happier with that setup over a GTX3576R, and have room to grow.
Spool being similar and the same are two different things...

The 3076 is proven
The 3576 is proven
The 3582 is proven

I recommend the 3076 and 3582.

I like Garrett’s G-series. All seem to be performing VERY well.

Last edit, and last post. Pretty sure Perrin or Cobb compared GTX3076R/GTX3582R and/or GTX3576R.
I know it’s been discussed on zilvia as well. The consensus was the same as my previous postings.

Click the link and get educated so you don't look like this big of an asshole again. Same car, same turbine housing, etc, etc, etc...

I don't think you understand that these two engine aren't similar/comparable. Not only evo heads flow differently then ours, more efficient, the car also has a mivec head and a TS setup, which further effects/skewa the results. Nothing is comparable at all.

Wtf are you talking about? The only thing that changes is the turbo. I’m not trying to compare the power figures or powerband to a dsm engine, I’m comparing how the turbos perform. This could have been done on any engine and the results would be the same. Spools the same, makes more power.

Post 28 reveals changes to MIVEC
Second thread reveals changes to setup as a whole. Different cams, etc.

Again. Bull**** dude. Again. Proves a 3576 is capable.
Does not show a true side by side 3076 vs 3576.

Now *snip*... Now make like a tree....

RWD4G63,

First off, posting anything from evom is like citing wikipedia on a term paper. Do you have personal experience with a 3076 and a 3576? If not, STFU, you are still spreading heresay. Some of us, like the op, just want to get the damn thing going, not everyone enjoys a stalled 10yr long 400hp build.

Who cares? What it to you? The turbo is already bought and the 3076 has and amazing track record and proven to make 600whp wrung out which is more that the op wants.

Wrong. The thread is on the right track comparing two different turbos.. Just not ideal / perfect. Too many variables and changes by the host on the test car for a direct conclusion.

I never argued that the OP should sell his turbo or that it won’t do what he wants it to do. I was merely correcting information about the 3076 vs 3576.

People, stop attacking each other and just discuss the topic.

I think the evo thread is a pretty good comparison. Same car, same setup except for CAT, almost identical boost. I know that's not perfect and all but it says a lot. It's better than the shit you mostly see on tuners: "Put on the new turbo, guys. Pulls hard! LOL". At least on evoM people are actually doing shit over there and posting it. Go on their dyno results forums and you'll literally find hundreds of results with most of it done professionally. Dyno sheets, full setup with all questions answered. I challenge anyone to find me 3 threads in the last 12 months on this site.

I saw today the g series and i only have to say that this turbo is amazing so powerful from low to high rpm . Its very impressive that made me think to change my turbo with this one.

stock engine is it capable to handle 500ps? (Six bolt engine)

Hi guys a small update:

Full exhaust 76mm installed
Tubular custom exhaust manifold with external 38mm
Garett gtx3076
Fmic with tial bov
Honda civic 3 row radiator
Arp main stud kit (crank bolts)

By end of this week i am waiting
Ultratech stand alone ecu with all sensors egt boost oil temp press and 5 bar map sensor
Walbro fuel pump
Injectors 1000cc
Aem fuel press regulator
Custom single plate clutch kit for now after some time twin clutch.

Whats your opinion?
My target 500-550 ps. For now i will tune and run with stock internals and as far as i know stock internals of 6 bolt can handle easily up to 600 ps.

i am not using it daily its just for fun and street race.

i will Ask tuner to Make three setups on 350-400 ps for daily use, one with high pressure 500 and one with racing fuel (vp) 550ps

waiting for tour comments

Also not to forget

a/c will be removed along with hydraulic compressor as i am going to install electrohydraulic compressor so i will get rid of two moving parts from engine.
