Got the rear upper adjustable control arms installed, rear toe arms removed so that way I can Tig weld the volk toe eliminator kit. Also bought new front Megan racing coilovers lower lock collars. Couldn't get the ones on the shock unseized so going to cut them off and install the new ones. Also in the process of making a tubular front cross member. Will post pics when more progress is done.

Got quite a few things done today. Took a drive to my dads fab shop to work on making a tubular front cross member and to weld in my toe eliminator kit.

Mounts that tie into the vehicle as well as the front roll stop. Made some aluminum inserts to act as sleeves and fully welded it up.

More to come, have to mock it up on the car as well as figure out the angle on the rollstop then will be back to fully weld

Ended up redoing the factory fuel lines and ran black stainless braided feed and return to the fuel sending unit and gas tank. Also my dad came in clutch as usual and made a badass battery tray out of some stainless. Makes it sit really low so I have clearance for the intercooler piping.

Gm flex fuel sensor, and fuel lab fpr installed along with all the lines and fittings. All that is needed now is to wire up the sensor. Got the turbo mounted as well as all the lines ran. Working on wastegate dumps as well as exhaust routing. Pics of turbo, manifold, and wastegate setup to come.

Sweet man I did the paul volk toe eliminator kit and upppers, on mine I see your in warren I got there quite often, family in Livonia, a know a few dsmers there. Doing a flex fuel setup, and stuff in bay painting included I gotta update my thread.

Patience is a virtue, im really glad we have some hard core dsmers around, makes me feel like alll the money, blood and sweat is worth it to this day.

Thanks guys. Should be able to share some pics tomorrow based on how the day goes and if I'm able to get majority of the exhaust routing and intercooler piping done. I can give you a hint. I'm going to be running a SXXX in a TX frame. Hope that helps LOL.

Work and time spent on these cars is only worth it to the right people. Sure you could go into a different platform and make a lot more reliable power and have better aftermarket as well as oem support. But who doesn't love seeing a well built dsm on a budget gap these $60k plus cars on the road.

Exhaust manifold mounted, turbo mounted and oil lines ran, wastegates mounted, intercooler piping made to fit and iat sensor bung location established. Just need to weld the intercooler piping up this weekend and should be able to start making the exhaust.

Man that's nice im right there, I really need to mock up my uicp with my new ets ,and placement of the smim, this time.

Wow, its.coming along great. Looking forward to the end result. Great work!
Thanks man. Wish I could just fire it up right now but still have a few things to do before that happens

Woah, it's beautiful. Awesome work! How much did you pay for that shell?
Thanks. Was very lucky to pick the car up the way it came with low mileage and rust free. Exterior paint needs some love but for me that's the easy part. All the car needed was an engine at the time. Got it from a buddy for around 1600. Sold some parts off of it and was in it a lot lower. Then plans changed with the car as it sat and now you see how the plans came out.

Both wastegates fully installed with new springs as well as leak checked. Exhaust finally done and heat wrapped. Working on welding an fitting on a spare valve cover as well as making brackets for my coolant overflow, catchcan, as well as ebc. Got all my gauges wired up, afr/boost/oil pressure as well as ECU installed. Lastly started ripping out all the interior trim panels.
