I had this crazy idea of building a car from the ground up. First I would start with a Chevy S10 frame ( 100.5 wheel base ) Needs to be shortened by 2.3 Inches with a kit you can by online . Drop in a 2016-2019 model Cadillac CTS-V with a supercharged 6.2 L LT4 with 640 hp (477 kW) , six speed transmission . Cut the complete floor from a 1999 Eagle Talon and then rebody onto S10 frame. Yes I am certified .. I am crazy . but could you imagine

That would off be nice, you just have to reinforce the s10 frame very well to hold the monster and not flex/twist the frame.

I ran small blocks in Chevy Vega's and it needed the front frame beefed up and ladder bars to keep it from twisting. The short wheel base made it a handful to drive since it was RWD. NO2 made it even more of a handful. Was fun, but dangerous....but fun!

This has been a crazy idea I`ve had for awhile.. I can get a custom frame pre built for $17,000.00 complete rolling chassis . Every thing in the pic included . The motor is at the auto wreckers . The Caddy was rear ended and is a right off but the motor is fine and still runs perfect . I can get the motor for &15,000.00 . The hot rod shop out of town can get me a complete ECM and harness kit . The kit is independent of every thing and only runs the drive train. Lights , radio and all that stuff needs to be wired separately. A friend of mine is a custom builder and could add almost any body . This may never happen but it doesn't hurt to dream big..

I can appreciate buying the individual items and let a trusted person assemble it, as my time is precious. I like to be able to tweak tunes when I feel necessary tho.
