Just got my motor installed and started today. There is this noise that sounds almost like electricity arcing from a shorted wire near the injectors but it also seems to be in line with the Revolution and speed of the camshafts. So I took off the valve cover and noticed that there was one lifter much higher than the rest so I removed it replaced it and fired up the engine again, still had the same sound. I'm thinking that the noise I'm hearing is camshaft or valve related but I'm not sure. Can someone take a look at these pictures and let me know if this indicates anything in particular. I have a feeling I'm going to be removing the cylinder head soon.

Lol, I was imagining a valve laying on a bench and a hammer somehow involved.....ROFL
I never know about some people so I just had to ask. These cars have seen a lot before most of got them.

Here are some pics of the timing as is before disassembly. Bare in mind the head is probably one of the thinnest ones I've ever run. I wanna say it's at 5.170 so that's the slight difference in the cams. More pics later.

Bruh, man. Just WTF. No clue how this happened. No piston contact, no obvious valve interference. I almost want to slap it back on and compression test it. Man I feel dumb right now.

Ya, it is a zip tie that has one of those body panel tips on it for mounting flush for harness routing. The valve involved does not seem bent but it does visibly close after the valve right next to it that did not have this happen to it. It's strange, like within a few degrees of cam rotation the zip tie valve closes but the other definitely closes first. I still cant believe this happened. My car has been down for a while and I finally got it started only to have this happen. So demoralized. Anyways I have my backup head at the machinist already getting fixed up, I will have this one inspected and pressure tested in the next week or so hopefully. I will post all findings to this thread foe continuities sake. Moral of this story is make for damn sure you dont led FOD happen to you haha.
