Hey guys, I need a little help. I'm trying to find the EGR plug on my 92 Talon so I can log fuel pressure, as its the only input left on Link. Can anyone point me in the general or even better direction to find it? I'm really OCD about not tapping or hacking a harness since I've got into this scene.
Thanks All!
The Old Man.
Marty

Black, two-pin connector with the same shape as and right next to -- towards the driver side of -- the gray knock sensor connnector, Marty!

Thanks Brian. I have been searching high and low for it. I wired in my EBC today and my FP sensor and was right there, looking.....like a deer at headlights.....
I thought I found it and unhooked a harness connector, 2 pin...then she said "thats my starter harness you dumbass". ROFL
I'll look again.
Thanks a bunch!!!
Marty

Thanks!
Wow, where the hell did you come up with that?????????????????

I made that for you with a program I have on my computer . A pic of your car was posted saying it was submitted to Rockauto for possible fridge magnet so I took the liberty and made one myself . Love that car by the way . Here is another by taking photos from your profile . I hope you like it

You are really good at that! Had me goin for abit. Thanks for the comment, that car is hiding in my shop!
We do have fun here at our house. Both my sons are DSM guys and then, me, the ole man. The kids around town refer to me as "Pops" and I just laugh and go with it!!! But "Pops" has the fastest car, and the kids know it. Only the motorcycle crowd likes to "play" when Pops comes to town!!!

Your Camaro pisses me off. My first car was a 67 rs 327 car. Was bought as a project so dad and I could build. Dad sold it because he thought I would get into trouble. My brother set the precedent in a 70 442 4 spd. It is the one that got away. I want my 2 dollars.
Those in the know will get that.

Man thanks Paul. It was a weird story how I came across her. She had 3 flat tires, covered in tree sap and looked like she didn't run. It was in a neighboring town that I JUST HAPPEN to roll up on. Had no clue how to get ahold of the owner, but a new kid started working at the office and lived in that town. I asked him about maybe trying to find out who owned it so I could give it the love it deserved, and low and behold, it belonged to that kid. His mom bought it as 2nd owner and then gave it to him to drive to school. It was fate, so we negotiated a reasonable amount and I trailered her home, since when I turned the key on, no lights no nothin......because they were ALL BURNED OUT. It fired right up and is still all stock from 1967. Same thing as your dad and yours Paul, 327 2bbl, powerglide. Just a sweet ride to cruise in. It is in no way a hotrod, it just attracts people and that's fun!
Sorry it pisses ya off, I ALMOST LOST IT in the divorce.
That would have pissed ME OFF!

Talk about being pissed … I had a 69 Camaro 396 4spd SS that got burnt in a garage fire . My friend got tons of money for the garage and content but I got nothing because the car was not insured . As it turns out the fire was deliberately set because my friend pissed another guy off ..Apparently he ripped some money off from that guys ex wife so he burned down his garage . This happened years ago and I have not seen that guy in many years but when the memory comes to mind I`d still like to punch him in the nose. Some times friends can turn out to be your worst enemy so if you have a good friend , give him a big hug today and tell him what he means to you …

I sold my car to my best friend a week before I filed the papers. Needed money for a lawyer. Lost my twin engine Cobalt boat....couldn't even buy her half. I'll have to put a picture of her up sometime. 23' Cabin Sport Boat of the year. Ran about 65mph across the water loaded. Twin 350 Chevys singing in harmony, I can still her her today.
Soooo...I moved to DSMs :thumb: and I no your not really "pissed" Paul.

Bought the car back after I could. I took care of it the whole time tho, 5 years.

Man Paul, reading back on your deal with the project car with your dad, that sucks. It is something I did for BOTH of the boys. I/we built the 86 Z28s they both have, together. Trying to teach them valuable knowledge. The boys are 5 years apart but somehow, I ended up with 1 Blue one and 1 Red one so that's what the boys got for graduation. It became THEIR car then. I'm so glad that I did that. It has helped so much for the boys to get them started as gear heads and they are. :)
The youngest (21) and I just did a 3rd gen 3:73 gear set swap with a posi and WE LEARNED TOGETHER.
Never to old to learn and I had never done a dif so we both learned. :thumb:
