Man is this sh*t kicking my butt / making my brain hurt. I am competent when it comes to wiring diagrams, so this should be a joke.
However, the information from the manufacturer (Directed / Viper) is not very clear to me. Seems it’s the same way for others.
So I have decided to make a detailed and straightforward thread on installing one of these systems. Not only in an effort to gain some feedback on if I actually did this right, but also to help the many I know are gonna find their way into the same spot that I’m in.
I’m kinda piggybacking on this thread from RedTurboEclipse: https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/a...rt-turbo-timer-install-wiring-diagram.336052/
What a fantastic resource.
Before I begin. I wanted to say I’m making this so no one messes their car up and to save some people time and headaches. On that note though —> Whatever you do to your car, is your responsibility. If it blows up because you listened to me, you are still the one that worked on it, not me. I am without doubt doing my best to put the best, most accurate information forward as possible, but that won’t change the fact that there may be discrepancies between what is said and shown here versus what is on your actual vehicle. I don’t know what you or the precious owners have done. And you may not either.
alas, lesgettit!
The vehicle I’m working on is a 1995 Eagle Talon TSI (FWD), so this will more than likely pertain moreso to the ‘95-‘96 crowd.
The system I am installing is a Viper 5305V 2-way security and remote start / keyless entry system. It also has a turbo timer function built in and I will be using it.
