I would recommend the lower rad hose heater. I had one on my 1g here in Saskatchewan and it worked extremely well, never had a problem starting when it was plugged in. However, if you really want an engine block heater, then you will likely just need to find a universal 35mm block heater (to replace one of your 35mm frost plugs). Im sure if you go to any parts store that isn't run by a high school kid, they should be able to help you out.

Even searching 35mm block heater on google got me the same kats number you reference above.

Set on block heater. This is gasoline, in the US, no one should have a problem starting the car anyway.
Canada’s def colder than PA.
I used to live in MN —> those were some f***in’ cold winters. -10 to -20..

I can go on Napa and look up 35mm block heaters all day.

Which one do we know fits? That’s what I’m asking.

I wasn’t able to find that on NAPA’s website? Only a KAT part that is no longer available.
I was originally going to with a KATS anyway because they seem good. Clearly specializing in block heaters.

I did google the Phillips / Temro unit and pulled the trigger. Should be here towards the end of next week. I plan on returning this thread with a couple pictures and updating with how it turns out.
