For reference, the Setrab cooler we used is around $250 by a search I just did. I looked up the part numbers for new Evo 8/9 oil coolers and they're $280/$250 respectively. Now, you could possibly get a used one, but just keep in mind that if anything went wrong with the engine, you could have some foreign material in the cooler than you're just not going to get out. So if you do decide to look for a used one, purchase wisely.

I would never use an oil cooler without knowing where it came from, you would be asking for trouble.
