I got these from a member on ecmlink. They’re all new but there’s paint on the top injectors (idk why) but the number is different on the actual body. Is this a cause for concern? They are definitely new.

Thanks

So I just got off the phone with Bosch. “They are not intended for automotive fueling applications. They’re for natural gas.”

I’ve read good reviews on these so idk what the issue is. He did say as long as the 028xxx numbers are the same, they’ll flow the same. :idontknow:

That is really odd! It looks like maybe one was from a different production run. I see the font is a little different on that one as well.

I would imagine its differences are primarily aesthetic, but the best way to know would probably be to have someone flow test them for you. I purchased a set a while back and they match the font on the 3 similar injectors in your photo.

Thats odd. But yes, the Bosch 210s, or 2200s are originally designed for CNG, but in the LS world they are very popular. They work just fine given you tune for them.

You're probable right about the production number.

That's good to know it's tested in the LS world. I've read a couple of posts here and seems like they work fine. I'm guessing he has to tell me that it's not intended for automotive use as a liability issue.

They work just fine. You do need to run the adapters for them. I run them in my personal car. If you look at a FIC or ID injectors they are already pre-fit with the adapters. When you order adapters they come with filters already fit in them.

So you ran these? No issues? No basket filter either?

Unfortunately - I can't say, "no issues" - because they are still in the box. I did talk to FIC about buying the adapters, and they are willing to sell just about anything they offer, separately. I need to check that thread in the link forums again to see if any new information has been shared...

"If you want both top and bottom adapters that will be $48.00 plus the $25.00 seal kit.
Please note that the bottom extenders will increase overall height of the injector by around 11mm."

"We can do the top adapters for $6.00 per adapter or $24.00 for the set, if the injector itself is 53mm tall o-ring to o-ring you should not need any bottom adapters.
The seal kit would be $25.00 and we can ship USPS 1st class for free in the USA."

No problem! Hope I helped LOL

You'll need the short adapters as you dont have the "Shorties" injector style. The ones you have are the exact ones i have. You only need the top portion. You remove the o-ring and shelf(black plastic disk)on the injector opening side.

You need the adapters like these.

Does this adapter simply slip over, or do you have to remove the original? Also, did you leave the top alone, the part that goes into the rail?

The adapter is the part that goes into the rail. Leave the O-ring on it and slide the adapter over the yellow o-ring side. The other side(side that goes into the head) take the purple o-ring off and that black disk off and it goes straight into the head through the seal you already have on the head.

Also what are you tuning with?

Oh. I was looking at it wrong. LOL I'm tuning with link.

So the adapter slides over the top of the injector with the o ring on, and just remove the o ring and shelf for the bottom.

Are those the correct adapters in the link you sent?

yes sir, they are correct. I was just showing you the type you need. Not saying buy those directly. I did try to find some purple ones to match my bay but, only had red. I bought mine off eBay. The injectors are 48mm and you need the 12mm adapter to make them 60mm. The shorties are 36mm and you'll need the tall adapters(24mm) to fit those.

Gotcha! Looks like these come with basket filters. I will look for 12mm. Thanks for your help, kenuwine4g63!!
