Any idea why my air circulation lever won't go all the way to the left?

When I swapped my dash and refurbished the HVAC ductwork I had a similar issue you’re experiencing. I followed the attached below.

Kinked cable, or the wrong cable is connected to the wrong thing, or just the way that the cable is connected/routed to the lever can even do it.
 
Had the same problem when I got my 1g Talon years ago. Ended up being one of the metal rods jumping out of place on the plastic assembly. Had to remove the dash to get to it. Probably something simple but tedious. Good luck.
