I went ahead and ordered the 3 gauges with all hardware, wiring and hoses.

On a side note, I've got card fraud. Somebody spent $36.48 on a food delivery service using my card :f-u:. I called the bank and cancelled the card, about to place it in the shredder. Also requested a new one, so hopefully that will be sorted out soon. Weird note, but this is probably the 3rd time it has happened to me so I'm pissed.

I'm also debating on a new set of tires. I can't take off on more than 50% throttle without burning these cheap ones up. I might just say fck it and buy some slicks so I'm always ready for a race, and just use another car for rain driving LOL. But seriously though, these cheap tires have got to go! I installed a basic 205/55R16 when I purchased the new wheels just to keep it on the road.

Soon I'll have the gauges/pod installed and the Yonaka catback system install and sound!

It's a beauty. If you like mechanical gauges, that is. They match the design/color scheme of the stock gauge cluster which caught my liking.

Further ahead, the voltage gauge has been replaced with a digital wideband AFR gauge.

Steering column boot. Also best of luck with the mechanical oil pressure sensor. Never been a fan of that risk.
I've had one on the Mustang for a while now, with no problems. But we'll see how it goes with this application.

Not a bad find at all! I located a DSM part-out (junkyard), and these goodies were on it. Everything needs a good cleaning up and fresh hardware, but this will be a big step in the build!

Side note, that shifter plate is getting tossed out due to rust. Mine doesn't have near that much corrosion. Also unsure why the rear struts did not match, but both will be replaced.

Just did a little research...
- the Ground Control springs and sleeves are around $500 new
- the Tokico shocks are around $100 each (although 1 is missing)
- the smooth tail light panels sell for $50 on Ebay
- the shifter is a Megan Racing, and it sells for $72

So, it looks like I've got $1k of parts right here for dirt cheap. :hellyeah: :dsm::laser:
I've never been a fan of used parts but I can probably clean these up and with a proper install get some decent use out of them. Got my money's worth anyway.

Luckily my shifter plate is in almost perfect condition. Which means I wont have to use that rusty one. LOL I got everything all washed up, and it looks great. I need to order an new bushing for one of the struts, and then I'll install it.

I wish I had a JY to pull from (besides my own). There just aren't any yards with these cars in them around here, so I am Jelly!!!!!

There's plenty of yards in Alabama, but the closest one is 45 minutes away. And that's the only one where you actually pull your own part. Its only usually once or twice a year that an Eclipse come in though. So I grab what I can while they have it. And sometimes I get lucky :)

I got the front coil overs installed. There is very little ground clearance, and they haven't settled yet. I'm waiting on the struts to come in for the rear and then I can do those. Decided to get 2 new ones since one of the Tokico were missing. I also worked on the gauges a little bit today.

Bosch gauges and pod installed! Megan Racing short shifter and Energy Suspension bushings installed! Smooth tail bezel installed! I'm not exactly satisfied with the gauge showing boost, but what did I expect with a mechanical gauge LOL

I just ordered the egr block off plate kit. I will install them once I'm back in town, and I'm also deleting the stupid evap system. Remember, there is no emissions testing in Alabama.
After having to spray the intake manifold multiple times with brake cleaner, I would like to keep it clean. I've had the egr unplugged for a while now, with no issues at all. I may have gained something, if anything. I'm selling my whole egr and evap systems if anybody is interested in buying either of them. I can post pics of those once removed if you guys want. I hope this will save some weight and make a smoother running engine. That should help with my upcoming autocross adventures.:D

Dropping the gas tank right now... In order to properly complete the evap deletion... And gashed my hand pretty bad on the heat shield... and broke some lines... I'm trying to decide if I should just go shower and get some sleep or if I should show this thing who's boss and finish taking it out.

I've got some interesting pictures on the way. That's for sure...

Let's get back to it I guess :|
