I made my own, but I can't remember what the heck I made them out of. They were for injectors but the same clip just smaller.

He needs the stiff wire type that holds the CAS plug onto the CAS and like 1g injector clips. I made some out of some wire that was stiff, but I can't remember what I dug up to use. Seems like a ladies hairclip bent into a C shape......something like that.

I am racking my brain, I think maybe I tried some paperclips bent into the correct shape and they worked for me. You have to find the correct diameter of paperclip, but I am pretty sure I bent some to see if they would hold and did but then I went to 2g style injector clips which aren't clips, they are press to release type. Grab a paperclip and see if is is the right size in diameter and if so, get a pair of pliers and give it a shot.

Honestly, whenever I see a DSM in a junk yard this is one of the things I always grab. I take all of those clips just so I have spares on hand.

I don't use those on harnesses myself, and the only one I see needing it is the TPS (my fix is to just use a dab of RTV to hold it in place). I'd argue you don't need them and my use case is a lot rougher than most.

Does anyone know where to purchase some OEM or OEM style retainer clips for our harnesses (CAS,MAP)? I bagged mine up during my build and misplaced them... I've looked in all of the main sites, extremepsi, stm, etc none seem to have them. Any help will be appreciated.

Music wire is what you want to use if you can't find those clips from a vendor or at the junkyard. It is stiff but bendable. My old Nissan 300ZX had the same clips as the DSMs and was missing all of them on the electrical connectors. Used this stuff to make all new clips. Have plenty left over for the next time one of those clips goes flying off into the dark abyss of my garage. Get it from Hobby Lobby or online.

I am just like @TSiAWD666, I dab a little grey silicone on my connectors, fk those clips. That's why I rewired my injectors with the 2g push tabs. They stay in place and are easy to remove if needed. I hated those clips with a passion.
I didn't know if anyone else was doing it or not, but I resorted to a little RTV on the CAS and the PTU and they are holding up fine. I do respect the clips, you definitely won't have to worry about the connector coming off!

Thanks for the advice. I am only missing a 1g CAS, TPS and the MAP clips. I'm willing to buy them from you migelmcv if you have those. Thank you!

I won’t sell you that but sure I wil give it away.
I always have some spare once handy, in case I loose one which they are easy to hide in the engine bay.

I’ll try them in my car and see which are the once I have and let you know.

Spoolin has them. The company that makes Spoolin coil packs for COP has them in stock. Order a bunch of them.
