Hey everyone, I have 2 1995 eagle talon tsi's, one (my daily) does not have the Viscous and rear lsd while my parts car(not plateable due to frame rust does) what kind of job would it be to swap the lsd and viscous stuff to my car, and is it worth it?

What are you looking to do with the car? That should dictate whether or not it is worth it (to you). I've always drag raced my cars, so an LSD rear is desirable to me. It's not that bad of a job, as long as you don't mind dropping the entire rear sub-frame. Doing it this way lets you get to everything a lot easier, and you can also inspect all of the sub-frame and differential bushings. There is a good chance your bushings could be toast, and it's good piece of mind to replace them while doing this.

The question is difficult to answer as we dont know your skill level nor what you are doing with the car. My car doesn't have it but as a low powered street car I dont miss it. However my skill level is also high so if I had it available I personally would do it but that's me. What are you doing with the car? And what is your skill level? Both cars must have matching drivetrain. Ie both auto or both manual. Yiu cannot mix and match. Gear ratios are different. This is assuming you are swapping the entire rear end not just the guts.

I have a pretty high skill level when it comes to these things, I'm just wondering If an LSD would more suit me in these snowy canadian winters? Both cars are 95s, manuals ect

Until a year ago my awd was daily driven. I didnt have a problem in snow. Lsd certainly wouldn't hurt. If your skills are good then you likely wont be bothered by the swap. With that much stuff down would also be easy to get caught up in while I'm in there....new bushings, struts etc. Up to you
