I just got a t34 and it’s in good shape with no shaft play. Only problem I’m having is finding the best way to mount it in my car, I need an open t3 manifold but they all have external wastegate mounts on them and this turbo is internally wastegated , second I won’t be able to use the original 4 bolt o2 housing to the downpipe so I’m not sure if they sell a bolt on part for that that’s not 300 some dollars on map performance that would connect the 5 bolt housing on the turbo to the downpipe. Second option for dealing with the wastegate is I weld the flapper door closed, grind it flush and run an external wastegate. Any help is appreciated and I’m sure i messed something up when I was typing so feel free to correct me.

It will be much cheaper to sell that one and buy a bolt on turbo. It's going to be a lot of work and expensive to make that t3 fit. You can get better performance out of a bolt on turbo.

You're going to spend way too much energy trying to get people to fabricate stuff or source parts to make it work. I could see if somebody handed you a new $1800 dbb 6266 and you're trying to make it work, but I've literally never heard of this turbo.

They make external wastegate blockoff plugs that block off a v-band wastegate, they use the v-band clamp to hold it in case you want to remove it in the future. It wouldnt be that much work to buy some plate and fab up a housing to connect to a downpipe, just cut the plate, drill the bolt holes and cut an exhaust outlet and weld some pipe to it, for some this would be a deal breaker, and at one time for me it would have been also, its up to you how deep you want to get into it.

What is this t34 turbo you speak of?

A t34 isn’t a good approach?, it’s like new and it’s not an eBay turbo it’s got the model number and everything, Or what is not a good approach?

It just seems that your doing this backwards. To decide on a power goal, then choose the appropriate turbo would be the best way to proceed if you are looking for more power. Doesnt seem that you know much about what you have, really you need to spend alot of time reading and learning before you do anything else.

That thing will TUR'BONE your goals. I'd pass on it like everyone else is saying. What kind of power are you looking at making? There are many more cost-effective options out there.

eBay junk. TURBOCHARGER gives it away.

ebay junk man...................
Okay well I only spent 60$ on it and i thought it was real because beside the model it said t34 and I was researching t34 and it said that it’s out of a Ford cosworth rs, but okay my power goal is 400hp and I’m at 280 with my tune and current setup but I’m not gonna drive it untill it’s ready to go I just wanna get everything together for the car this winter and have it ready by summer hopefully, so which turbo would you say is reliable at 400hp I originally wanted an hx35 because i thought it’d be a little overkill for that so I tried to find something a little smaller

400hp or close to it , more detail in the reply above^

Should I just go with an hx35 and buy the bep housing for it so it bolts right on and make the build simple ? Or is there a better turbo for the build?

HX35 will be the perfect setup for you honestly if you had planned on going that route. If you want bolt on, go with a b16g, HTA68 or even an FP Green.

HX35 with bep like you mentioned or an hta68 v1 or v2. If you're a real man, put in the new FP Zero and dial it down hella to 400hp but have the other 300hp on tap with a little secret push-button :)

Okay I’ll let you guys know , I’m just having such a hard time finding any genuine turbos that aren’t rebuilt with eBay part or aren’t eBay turbos , I know I shouldn’t buy anything that says turbo charger on it but I fell for this one because I saw t34 and thought it was legit , any sites you recommend or people to buy from

i would choose the hx35 over the ebay turbo any day. itll get you to your goal with ease and not have to push things too hard to get there.

That fp zero set up sounds like a dream but probably costs a fortune and the hta 68 v1 or v2 do they both bolt up or what ? The last thing I want to do is have to fabricate something

Yeah agreed I didn’t know it was an eBay turbo I wanted to get more info on it and I don’t plan on using it anymore

A used Evo3 16g turbo would be a blast to have and you could likely get one for not much money, also the FP red, black, or green all work well too and come up used here and there, that one you have almost looks like a K03 compressor, sell that one to one of your buddies that wants to have a turbo but will never get around to installing it.

Here you go in fact, theres one on here listed right now for $300:
