Thank you for the answer.In factory configuration it doesn't. It measures the air mass entering the compressor inlet and guesses what the boost level is based on engine rotational speed. And that is only used for the worthless factory dash gauge.

Thank you very much sir.Its an estimate that's calculated based on either measured airflow and temperature or manifold pressure and temperature, the same way that your factory engine did things.

You'd have to get a special MAP sensor that can read that small amount of boost you're running.^^^^^
