How many of us still have our original DSM key(s)?

Me too. I use the originals to make my key copies. Never had much luck coping a copy & having them work. Also always carry a 2nd key with me so not to ever get accidenally locked out.

I've tried multiple places for copies and I had to end up spending $5 to get one that actually works. That doesn't sound like much but the first was like $1. This is the 3rd copy by the way. I threw the others in the trash after cutting them because they didn't work at all. I wanted to make a copy so that I didn't wear out or lose my original.

I have the originals for mine, 2 sets of keys and remotes. Lots of others I've looked at throughout the years have been copies..

I have two.
One I lost and found it a year later or so, the other I bought it at the dealer (when I lost the first one), I just gave them the vin # and show proof of ownership of the car and a day later VIOLA went and pick it up.

The dealer made keys are what we do on all of ours. They can even match the original plastic head design that says Mitsubishi on it.

I have original key and key less fob that still works on my car. I do not use the original key as its the only one i have. I use copy's.

I'm still using my master key because I haven't bothered making a copy.
