Ive got a dual axle 7x14 enclosed trailer that i use for other stuff. Not meant for cars but could hold the weight for sure. I want to go pick up a Talon that doesn't run. I know its going to be super close.......I can get the car in there but I cant tell if the doors will be able close. I havent actually tried yet. I just went outside and did my best to get a measurement in the dark by myself and its super close.....Almost certain that if it didnt fit, pulling either bumper would make it fit, its very close. This is just going to be a one time thing.

Anyone done this??

Will it clear the wheel wells inside?
Is that 14 foot measurement from inside?
Might be simpler to rent a u haul car trailer and not beat up your trailer.

We also have a 7 x 14, V-nose, dual axle and are planning to be able to us it as a DSM transport (it will fit), however we need to do a few upgrades first.

The ramp door needs to be reconstructed to handle the weight. The rear (adjustable) jack stands need to be welded on to prevent bending the frame while loading. The floor, which is already double thick, needs to have plates welded underneath where the tires will sit, and finally, we need a tie down system inside, so that the DSM doesn’t turn into a missile in the event of a driving emergency.

Even with all of these mods, we will still have to exit and enter the car through the hatch.

Yeah i planned on the U haul trailer from day one.....aware of all those obvious things but still, thanks guys.

Really what I wanted to know, and should have asked, is if it would physically fit into the space, doors closed.

Thank you DogWhistle!
