I've read through about a dozen similar posts, but couldn't determine a conclusion. I have been having a persisting issue with my '96 GSX when I attempt to go WOT, it falls flat on its face; but I can gradually build boost. I have been dealing with this for several months. Today I was out for an extended drive (roughly an hour). The car was behaving as mentioned for the first 45 minutes or so, but then I was suddenly unable to accelerate smoothly or beyond 40 MPH (it felt like I was running on two cylinders) and if I free rev'd the car, it was like there was a rev limiter and wouldn't go past 3500-4000 RPM. I pulled over, turned off the car, popped the hood (mainly to check Mass Airflow connection; it was fine), started the car back up and the issue was gone. I drive the car maybe 3k miles a year, so I think the issue is getting worse, which may help me pinpoint and hopefully correct it.

I pulled my ECU to see if I could see any blatant issues (I've attached pictures). I dont see anything out of the ordinary, but I am not an expert. There is also no smell. If anyone could verify just visually, that would be awesome.

I was also thinking of the Power Transistor/Ignition Control Module being bad. From what I've read, heat can cause them to malfunction. Maybe that would explain why it suddenly occurred after 45 minutes (which is longer than I usually drive in one session). I did notice the connector "tab" is broken, so I guess that maybe it could be loose? Also, possibly TPS (I adjusted with a multimeter when I installed my rebuilt throttle body; maybe I did it incorrectly?) or ignition coils?

A boost leak test was done yesterday with no issues. I have NGK BPR6ES plugs gapped appropriately with NGK wires. Fuel Filter is new, injectors have been cleaned and flow tested.

The car has the stock T25, Greddy Upper IC pipe with knockoff BOV (recirculated) BCS restrictor removed and a 3" turbo back exhaust. Otherwise, its all stock. I have a boost gauge, but unfortunately not DSM Link or a wideband.
