I can not keep pressure in my clutch. I have a brand new OEM Master cylinder, Brand New OEM slave cylinder, Brand New ACT 2600 Clutch, Brand New Pivot Ball, Brand New Clutch Fork and brand new stainless clutch line.

I have bled and bled and bled both the slave and mater cylinder. I had my clutch assembly welded and checked.

I am thinking about ordering a new slave and master.
 
Did you bench bleed the master? Did you try pushing the slave back into the housing to purge all the air out?

You either have an air leak, it's not bled properly, it's not adjusted properly, or bad components. If they're new and you don't have any leaks, them I'm betting on adjustment or needs bled properly.

I followed every recommendation for bleeding the system. I don't think I can fix it by bleeding.

Either I have something leaking but I don't see any leaking fluid or something needs to be adjusted. I just don't know where to start.

Have you properly bled the system? I know when I first started bleeding cars I was told taught to pump the clutch when bleeding it to “build pressure”, which I found out later makes air bubbles in the system. Your supposed to push the clutch down, open the valve, let the air come out, close the valve, lift the pedal. Repeat until only fluid comes out. While of course making sure the reservoir never goes empty.
 
I found switching to a speed bleeder on the slave made bleeding clutches a 10 min one man job.
 
Also when I bled the slave, it was straight fluid shooting out. No bubbles or sputters.
 
The speed bleeder shouldn't be causing this use but it defiantly helps speed up the process so much that I'll never do brakes or a clutch without them.
 
Have you disassembled the clutch master cylinder and looked directly at the piston seals? It sounds like a damaged bore or a defective inner piston seal on the master.

I'll order a new master cylinder and try swapping it out.

I'll try that but am I going to be able to easily spot the problem?

Also can I just use the same vacuum pump I use for brakes to bleed the clutch instead of pumping the pedal?
 
Opening up the master cylinder is as easy as removing the retaining circlip, then removing the piston assembly and looking at both the inner and outer piston seals. I am suspecting a damaged inner piston seal, or damage to the cylinder bore that is bleeding off pressure.

As for the vacuum pump, you can use it, but I typically had better luck just doing it by hand with pumping pedal manually several times slowly, then holding down the pedal and then opening up the bleeder on the slave cylinder (with a piece of silicone tubing on the bleeder nipple going into a fluid container -- bottle with a hole in the cap for example), and doing the process several times, then adjusting inward with the master cylinder adjustment rod as needed.
 
I replaced the master again and still can't get into gear.

My frustration level is so high it is taking all the fun out of everything.
 
post some pictures, particularly of where your clutch fork is sitting. is the clutch pedal dropping to the floor?

Pedal just doesnt have good pressure it has weak pressure to the floor. I already had the clutch pedal assembly welded.

I'll try to get a pic of the fork position on monday.


Don't lose heart over this, I promise it's something simple.

I hope so this project has just been dragging on. Really hoping for a simple fix.
 
i dealt with this same problem, i bench bled the master and was able to get good pressure. Interested to see what fixes your problem tho..... Hope it works out easily !!!!
 
Do you think my clutch fork is out of position? It appears to be way to the passenger side.
