Has anybody put a catch can on their N/T? I think the pcv valve is allowing too much oil to pass by into the intake. I've replaced the pcv valve twice, it seems like all of them are cheap. I'm curious if I can run a vacuum sealed catch can on the lines running from the valve cover to the intake manifold. On the same line as the pcv, just to catch what the pcv will miss.

I use a Radium catch can with their PVC valve. It's a nice baffled catch can. Little pricey, but you get what you pay for. And it has a dipstick to allow you to monitor the oil level. They have cheap knockoffs on Ebay, but I'd rather support companies that do the hard work designing products for car enthusiasts.

Word, thanks for the reply.

If you run a catch can with out a pcv valve and still plumb it into the manifold you will essentially have a vacuum leak and will have a high idle because of it. If you want to delete the pcv valve you need to only use the port before the throttle body.

I would be ok with keeping the pcv valve if I have to.
