All,
I would like to reintroduce myself and tell more about our team!
Im James and have been out of the DSM world for 10 years or so. My brother in law came to me one day wanting to build a car for racing called 24 hours of lemons. We found a 1992 Eagle Talon ES (Extra Slow) and bought it to build for these races. We thought it was a good buy as it already had a roll cage in it. Well we were wrong the cage was junk and we totally rebuilt it. We have hit rough patches and we have been smooth sailing. Our plan for next year is to install a power adder. I really want to turbo this car because it was meant to be turbo but our team members want to supercharge it as they think its more reliable. We run 10-14 hours straight full throttle about 90% of the time.
I welcome all thoughts and concerns! I know I have seen many cars that have been successful in endurance racing and would like to add ours to that list. I added a video just for everyones enjoyment.
