Hey guys had a bitter sweet day at the dyno. I was hoping to make around 230whp off the tiny t25. Was a little bummed at the outcome. 211whp 268 ft tq. I think the exhaust and cat are what held me back to reach my goals. Car runs and sounds great just bummed I didn't reach my goal. I didnt know the hks was such a small diameter. I was happy with the tq numbers though.
Mods are: custom intake, speed density, ets front mount/custom hard pipes, vibrant high flow cat, walbro 255 pump, hks catback 60mm.

The 14b with 7 cm hot side on a little higher boost should get you 230. I assume ur on stock injectors you didnt specify.

Yea stock injectors. My tuner said there maxed out too. I'm thinking next yr a 3in exhaust, 16G turbo and evo 9 injectors and I should be good. It's not to much of a big deal I do own a modded evo and sti that both make in the mid 300s. Just a bummer when u have an ideal goal set and you fall short on it.

betcha it's fun to drive round town with those torque #s

It was for like 1 day haha. I guess my mechanic torqued the valve cover bolts to what Mitsubishi recommends and it cracked the VC, so its seeping by the weep hole. So he ordered me a new VC and has to pay to get it powder coated again. Gona be awhile till I get it back LOL.

There is no specified torque number I to my knowledge because if you’re torquing the VC down that’s exactly what’s going to happen, cracking. Hand tight is what most recommend to avoid that.

I'm amazed anyone could torque them down tight enough to crack anything before they'd strip out. :p
Yea it sucks. I've had this car since may
And I've never driven it. After the build and all the crap I went through to finally getting it running. Then I finally get it tuned and this happens. They ordered me another valve cover but it's coming from california then it still needs to get powder coated. The entire summer Is over and I never really got to enjoy the car . Kinda blows.

Well guys since I was so disappointed with my power goals, I've decided to upgrade some stuff. I'm not trying to go crazy with this car, so I ordered a Garrett t28 upgrade, getting a 3in exhaust , an fp race manifold and evo 9 injectors. As long as I can be in the 250ish range I'll be content.
